Looking pretty darn cool, don't ya think?
Violet's sixth birthday is fast approaching.
I gave out her invitations and I am working on finding some great, thoughtful gifts.
I think I have to supply the cake - or cupcakes - for the party. Yikes! A baker I am not!
The days here in New Hampshire have been slowly warming. I have the summertime bug so bad, I can't wait to do things outside again with Violet. The beach is calling my name.
We plan to hike and do amusement parks and scoot a ton, as soon as possible.
I was hoping to move into a larger sized apartment this springtime but finances as they are will probably prevent this. I am anxious for Violet to have more room (and more space for all of her stuff!). But at the same time, I love the space we share. I love that it is OURS and ours only. I am thankful that I wanted to create a life that made me feel unstuck and more clear, and that I made that happen for myself. Living on my own isn't awesome or glamorous but I am glad that I am not desperate in any other living situation right now.
I do hope to provide more for Violet soon, though.
I want a garden. And a room for her. And maybe a porch to place a chair and some potted plants.
