Our summer is in full force and we are gearing up to go camping this weekend. Many pictures to follow I'm sure... It is going to be a blast! My sisters and mum and little Violet all stuffed inside a tent. And it is forecasted to rain. I am still super excited though, I want to make the most of this time.
This weekend will certainly cross a few things from my Summer Fun List, planned back in June. We have slowly been working on it but I have so many things still left to do. I look forward to each and every one so much. There is more joy and happiness in seeing my girl experience these things and places than anything else that I do.
We will mostly likely hike this weekend, even if it is just in a gorge. Violet has repeatedly told me that she wants to "climb a mountain" like her Auntie does (an avid hiker). I have a good feeling that a hike for her would have to be a considerably short one, otherwise I would be carrying a very cranky, very heavy five year old down a hill and it would not be pretty.
We also have a pregnant sister in the mix. YES! I love that my baby sis is preggo and I can't wait to talk about it with her. The first little boy in the little sister circle so far. Only three months to go too, I can hardly contain myself. Next up, baby shower planning!
In addition to our camping weekend, I found another meaningful activity that Violet and I will DEFINITELY be attending together. It is at my local bikram studio. They are hosting a family night next month with a children's yoga class. I can't wait because I know my beautiful little yogini will love it!
