Camp fire this evening with Violet's friend:

As it turns out, Violet is not a fan of toasted marshmallows.  I was really excited to make s'mores for her but she was totally NOT into it.  She enjoyed tending fire briefly but overall, did not really like it.  Maybe she won't really be into the whole camping thing either ... just like her Mom.  Which is fine by me!
