Yesterday I had the best Mother's Day.

I had the deep notion to do something really fun that would make Violet happy.  Making her happy is truly what makes me the happiest so I knew it would make my day.  I thought for a long time about what we could do.  I wanted to spend the entire day just us, doing something out of the ordinary but not extremely far from home or too expensive.  Something outside.  Something not too crazy.

A local amusement park offered free admission to all Moms.  I waited out the weather to decide if this would work for us.  Luckily the weather was okay yesterday, unsettled but not unmanageable, so we packed up and went to have FUN!

The Dragon Coaster is her FAVORITE! We rode it twice.  I was freaking out.  Coasters scare me!

I drove the "hot rod" ride but only because she wasn't tall enough to reach the peddle.

We rode the carousel three times.  She loved this lion as he looks like Aslan of Narnia.

And we got this glitter tattoo on our way out in lieu of a souvenir or toy.
