Violet started first grade this morning!

I arrived early at her Daddy's house (as the first day of school fell on his morning) and gave Violet these special bracelets as good luck charms for her first day.  I told her if she was scared or nervous, to look at them and know that we were thinking of her and that she is a very brave girl!

This is right before I lost my cool and started crying!  She was really nervous but she made it out the other side just fine.  She was SO HAPPY to see me and her Daddy waiting when she got out today.

Phew, this is Violet after we picked her up from school this afternoon!  See? All smiles!
